Turkey just watches as ISIL moves in

Broken promises from the Turks, or just whose side are they on? there tanks and troops are there but all they are doing is watching, even though they promised to defend the town.

In Syria, Islamic State extremists are reported to have seized the town of Kobane, near the Turkish border.
Last week, Turkey promised to prevent the town from falling to the militants, and its parliament authorised military operations against them in Iraq and Syria.

They are preventing Kurds from going back to protect their town from IS fighters. Either a directive from NATO or the scummy cunts are on their side.

Maybe the Turks think if they defend the town (as they promised) then these nutters will declare war and attack them as well, is strange though, they have a whole heavily armed brigade there overlooking the town and all they are doing is watching and not letting the Kurds go back to fight, presumably they are letting them escape across the border though, or are they?

Turks are in an spot here
The Kurds have fought a terrorist campaign against them, so not sure what they are expected to do?
Meanwhile the ISIS forces are taking down another city. Bare in mind though that ISIS did not behead the Turks they held, they gave them back - at what price?
End game? The Turks will go in and as part of NATO that will be the excuse to put boots on the ground, can see it coming.
We would do well to consult closely with Putin prior

You would have thought if you tell the world you will defend your neighbour you would do so, maybe the Turks underestimated ISIL, assumed the air strikes would see them not attempt to take this border town so put out the statement, now they HAVE appeared to have taken it, they just sit and watch, even with there Army massed and heavily armed just across the border……….WTF

Any hint of ISIS incursion into Turkey will be met by NATO boots on the ground - a fact reiterated today

Maybe a NATO agenda but maybe not the conspiracy type!, just odd Turkey would say something, have the government authorise the use of the Military, then a week later when you have promised to stop a town being taken, they don’t? has to be a reason and hopefully that will become apparent in the coming days and would say there is a US/UK/NATO/UN connection as to why as otherwise Turkey (or its government) is looking very stupid, just hope its not coming from there Army, that is they have refused to carry out there governments orders.

If the Turks move across the border into Syria Assad has already said this will be seen as an act of aggression by Turkey. Therefore draging them into the Syrian conflict.
